I really appreciated viewing all the artwork. And the lobby and lounges are great places to hang out in. If the weather makes you not want to venture outside, I would suggest grabbing a good book, a glass of wine or a cup of tea, and pick a spot on one of their couches or comfy chairs with soft classic jazz in the background. Bedrooms are small but on par with most hotels in Europe. The bathrooms, while still small by American standards, were actually a bit nicer and roomier that most European hotels'. No electrical outlet in the bathroom though. Free coffee and tea 24/7. Good location.

The hotel was very comfortable and beautifully decorated - it was nice to walk through and was inviting to sit and relax in. The rooms were a good size, with a nice shower (good water pressure), shampoo, soap, a hair dryer, and even a mini-bar of items if you wanted to partake (we did not). There is an elevator, for those who need accessibility support (my husband just had surgery on his leg, so it was helpful to take the elevator rather than carry the weight of luggage on his healing knee. The staff was super friendly and were willing to provide local recommendations.

We only had one night at the hotel so we really appreciated that there was free guest parking, and that its location being so central. The hotel itself is very retro chic/trendy, and we loved its style. Breakfast was decent, although if anyone from the hotel reads this then please get some larger cups/mugs for us tea drinkers - the tiny cups are not suitable, especially when you have to keep going up to get more hot water/tea bags etc.

Cons: The room was too cold when we arrived. The heaters were turned off and the window was left open. The shelf where the glasses were on was dusty and the coffee machine needed a clean up. The walls had no sound isolation so we heard the next door guests' conversations. Pros: We loved the scent of the liquid soap, shampoo and shower gel. There were bathrobes which were awesome. Once turned on, the heaters were extremely hot.

We went twice, once at the beginning and once at the end of our trip. Both times there were comfy beds and clean and comfortable rooms. At the front desk, there was always a pleasant person there to help you. Also, the location is perfect. We walked to the shopping area and Rainbow St. We could see the church from our room too. It was a nice spot to be, on our last night in Iceland.
